Efate

Efate is the main island and the international gateway to Vanuatu, offering a vibrant mix of restaurants, bars, shops, markets and more. The capital Port Vila is located around a magnificent natural harbour and is flanked by a stunning lagoon. Waterfalls, blue lagoon and beaches are scattered around the island and there are plenty of tours to uncover them. There are about 40 cafes and restaurants in Port Vila offering everything from French, Mediterranean, Chinese, Italian, Thai, Asian Fusion, tapas and seafood. Resort hopping is a popular past time to enjoy the amazing restaurants available.

Espiritu Santo

Espiritu Santo is the largest island of Vanuatu and only a 55 minute flight north of Port Vila. Days can be spent discovering some of the most beautiful white sand beaches, amazing blue holes, caves and world-renowned diving and snorkelling sites.

Tanna

Only a 35 minute flight south of Port Vila, Tanna is home to one of Vanuatu’s most popular tourist attractions, the Mount Yasur volcano which is a 1.5 hour drive from the airport. You can also swim in underwater caves, snorkel around some of the best coral in the South Pacific, see the island’s wild horses and experience an ancient culture that remains largely unchanged to this day.

Ambrym

Known for its twin volcanoes, beautiful wood, stone and tree fern carvings, as well as sorcery and black magic, Ambrym offers a unique Vanuatu experience. The striking Rom (masked) dance is a unique, unmissable custom on this island where ancient traditions still play an important role to this day.
