Malekula
Relatively untouched by tourism, Malekula offers you a rich, authentic Vanuatu experience. The island is renowned for its custom dances and traditions. Mountainous and rugged, Malekula offers iconic jungle treks. Neighbouring small islands offer sand beaches and coral reefs for those keen to snorkel.
Pentecost
Famous as the birth place of bungy jumping, Pentecost Island is the home of the awe-inspiring land diving ritual (Naghol). This daring ceremony takes place every Saturday between April and June. Pentecost is also known for ritual dancing, basket weaving and spectacular waterfalls.
Other Islands
Port Vila is the starting point to explore Vanuatu’s other islands. Most are a short flight away but some, including Epi, Lelepa, Pele, Nguna and Hat can be accessed by boat.
Head off the beaten track to remote outer islands to immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions which continue to thrive today.
