Some highlights

• Beaches: Discover your own piece of paradise at one of the many pristine beaches including Champagne Beach in Santo where stunning white sand meets translucent blue water. Eton Beach and Crystal Blue Lagoon Beach on Efate are a must. There are day trips for private picnic lunches, sailing trips to secluded beaches for a BBQ and local beach bars.
• Waterfalls: In Port Vila discover Mele Cascades, one of Vanuatu’s most visited waterfall locations in the lush rainforest. In Santo, the stunning Mount Hope Waterfall lies waiting at the end of a relaxing float down the deep limestone gorge of the Sarakata River.
• Underwater: Santo is home to SS President Coolidge, the largest and most accessible wreck dive in the world, jammed with the machinery of war and personal effects. Million Dollar Point where US naval forces dumped military planes and vehicles is also nearby. Around Efate, Hideaway Marine Sanctuary, numerous wrecks and a stunning outer reef are suitable for novice to advanced divers.

• Blue Holes: Discover Vanuatu’s stunning natural wonders, the blue holes. These fresh water swimming holes formed out of the limestone landscape are filled with crystal clear, cobalt blue water. Nanda, Matevulu and Riri, are located on Santo and the Blue Lagoon blue hole is on Efate.
• Volcanoes: Visit Mount Yasur on Tanna to stand on the rim of the live volcano and witness up close and personal the fireworks phenomena. Take a scenic flight to Lopevi Island, the tallest peak in central Vanuatu with spectacular emerald forested slopes. Head further north to see Ambrym, included in the top ten for earth’s most active volcanoes.
• Trekking: On Malekula take a guided jungle trek such as the Manbush Trail, Dogs Head Walk, Big Nambas Trek, and Losinwei Cascade Walk offer an experience of both custom and nature. The Millennium Cave trek in Santo is an awesome full day adventure through the bush and river to a fascinating cave.
