Vanuatu offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit all tastes and budgets from bungalows and budget to hotels and quality resorts.
The main island of Efate offers the greatest variety of accommodation options, particularly around Port Vila. Tanna and Espiritu Santo have resorts and hotels as well as traditional bungalow accommodation, whilst other outer islands have bungalows and guest houses.
Hotels
Hotels offering spacious accommodations, well-appointed rooms and decorated lobbies are great for those looking at mid-range accommodation. Hotel facilities and room service availability may vary however most will offer air conditioned rooms, basic tea making facilities, laundry service, internet access and tour desk. Most will also have a bar, restaurant, pool and gym.
Resorts
Whether your clients are after waterfront, deluxe room suites set on tropical garden or something suitable for the whole family, there are resorts to suit all needs.

Budget
For those on a budget, there are plenty of low cost motels, hotel and guesthouse accommodation available. Locations may vary from central, walking distance to a few kilometres drive out of town.
There are also apartment and villa style accommodation available which are self-catering for the independent traveller or groups.
Bungalows and guesthouses
- Simple and basic they are built from local materials in traditional or semi-modern island-style.
- Guests will have a unique and authentic Vanuatu experience away from the commercial tourism centres.
- Cooked meals are generally provided and the bungalow is kept clean and tidy with basic amenities.
